1. A very brief overview: what is leadership in the context of social change?
2. Present Leadership components:
- Understanding your audience (community assessment)
- Organizing your audience
- Facilitating group discussions discerning action options
- Visual goal-setting and supportive collaboration
3. Discuss project possibilities and make a personal action plan
OBJECTIVES:
Participants will be able to
- Use the Sustainable Communities Leaders’ Toolkit to effectively organize community members around a specific collaborative project aimed at personal transformation
- Facilitate a group in identifying their action interests
- Plan an action project
